Hannele Romppanen creates camera-based performances. Over the past two decades, family members, senior citizens, care and rescue professionals — and most recently the artist herself — have stepped courageously in front of her camera in works that focus on people, movement, and being seen.

Hannele Romppanen tekee kamerapohjaisia performansseja. Vuodesta 2000 lähtien hänen kameransa eteen ja näyttämölle ovat rohkeasti uskaltautuneet perheenjäsenet, seniorikansalaiset, hoito- ja pelastusalan ammattilaiset — viime vuosina myös taiteilija itse.
